Do you know how to focus and defocus?

You can notice the level of your ability yourself. It becomes clear when someone is not able to focus and defocus when someone studies a book from page 1 up to page last, and never uses the index. I have met people who studied on university level and did it that way: page 1, page 2, up to page last. They experience trouble in exams to proof that they understand what they studied.
In other circumstances it is not so clear. You might try to look at a larger painting or photograph, from one meter or three feet distance. Are you able to look globally, then decide to look into details? Some scan the photograph from top left to bottom right or vice versa. But when you ask them to see the whole picture at once, they cannot.
These people have difficulty in a museum with all those pieces. How do they index all these items for themselves? The problem of being overloaded becomes apparent. They probably overload quickly.
When you are able to globally categorize and dive into details you can postpone being overloaded. Your brain knows where to place things, and keep the overview on things. This makes it manageable.
For others, it might not be easy to experience what it is like, not being able to focus or defocus. They might get the idea by imagining being in a museum where all things are messed up. Try to figure out for yourself how you would enjoy such a museum. Chances are high at one point you do not know heads and tails any longer. How do you make sense of all those pieces?
Being able to focus and defocus at first may seem trivial for some, but it is a quality you need in life.

How to prevent being overloaded?

That is a simple and plain process.
First notice your state of energy level, your mood and your mental state. Notice may also be understood by become aware. When you do, you take a distance and you have a moment to interpret. On the outcome of your interpretation you can decide and act.
Heart Waves gives you powerful tools, like grounding, and become centred again. It tells you of being aware. It helps you become more yourself.
Your body, your mood and mental state tell you everything to prevent the state of being overloaded. Depending on the circumstances you learn, you decide and act, like doing a Heart application and in the process free yourself from the state of being overloaded.

I am religious, can I practice these applications?

The answer is plain: Yes, the approach is universal and it uses universal ideas too. Among the concepts are the Energy Psychology techniques, they do not make statements of a religious nature, they work for everybody. Being aware is a useful quality that can be developed and it is used in the approach. Most religions appreciate such a quality. The human energy system surrounds the body but is less dense, you are born with it. The human energy system is one of the facts of life, and this knowledge can be applied. “What about Morphic fields?” you might ask. That depends. These fields are not directly proven by science. My guess is that your religion somehow, although in other words, describes the same phenomenon.
The good thing about this universal approach is that it can enhance the quality of religious experiences. It probably deepens insight into the religion.

Is it difficult to find my Self?

That is a serious question. It depends on your life circumstances today and when you were a child.
It does not need to be difficult. You need the knowledge how to get there. You need tools and a map too. You need information from others that went there already and that can tell you about it. Does this sound straightforward to you? It does make sense. In an analogy it goes like this.
You are planning on a trip to a place you have heard of, but never been yourself. You need a vehicle for traveling, to get there and see for yourself.
The vehicle can be steered from someone and you relax and enjoy the ride. This goes for airplane travels where you need to go to the airport and from the airport to your destination. You are taken care of during flight. Only a minimum of effort is needed. Only a few people can go to their Heart in an airplane flight like effort. These are what I call the fast clients. They step in and in a few sessions they reach their Heart. Because so little effort is needed, they mostly have to be remembered about the gem they reach. Can something you get that easy be so worthwhile?
For others, the voyage means stepping into the car and drive. Under way you meet curves and dense traffic; you need to refuel the car, pay attention, and have a few pauses. You know, travel a distance.
When you are fortunate you have a navigation unit taking care of the route to travel. If you do not, you have to look after your route yourself from a map. These people have to put a serious effort to it and pay attention. Fortunately, a map and a plan are present to open up to the Heart.
Another way of traveling is like people that take various transportation means. They use a motor bicycle, train and a car to get there. On the way they may meet other travelers on the train and enjoy their company. These people may use the guided approach from the book and meet other travelers on the social media. They make an effort and they meet people.
I do not know what type of traveling you prefer. What I do know that there are means to get there and the tools and a map exist. If you like company, there are other travelers too.
So you judge for yourself. What kind of traveler are you?

Multiple ways to get there.

I know there are multiple ways to open up to your Heart. Different religions have their words to describe the meaning. You can look into that yourself and you will learn about the Heart Sutra, the images showing the beam of light from the Heart, The jewel in the Heart. I certainly have forgotten to mention other statements from other religions. If you want to, you can comment on it and mention them.
Other ways with rich spiritual insights exist and they take a long time. You can use those other ways and use this approach too. Chances are that it will accelerate your spiritual growth and deepen experiences in life. The short route I present you delivers results, enriches your life but it cannot give all the precious little gems that other ways during years of practicing deliver during years of study in monastery. I hope you see that the invested time differs quite substantially.
People that practice a religion or spiritual approach that live outside a monastery face “scratching the surface” as life may make demands on them, luring them away, leaving little time for practice. These people benefit from the offered approach because the Heart can help them find deeper levels of experience although life still makes its demands. If you are not interested in a religion or spirituality, then you can reap the benefits from personal growth that this approach offers too.

One simple way to work with energy, it all happens from there

Well two ways of applying energy are used.

The first uses Energy Psychology to treat your emotional blockages on the way to your Heart.
The second uses noticeable energy in the body. When one notices that subtle energy and experiences it, then it becomes easier to apply the grounding application and the Heart applications.
For most people that want logical explanations it may be difficult to understand that the body on itself tells a lot, if one listens. Most people are so used to the body, that they do not notice subtle energies they carry all day.
But, whether you experience something, then that experience is a fact on itself. The question what you experience is interesting. It could easily lead to many years of study. I teach you a simple way to work with energy. From that simple way most of the applications are learned. Once learned, one can apply them for the rest of life. The book is a treasure filled with applications that can transform a human life, to a more fulfilled life and easier life to live.
One simple way to experience energy leads to a treasure for life.

The Heart feels great.

When you cannot memorize being in contact with the Heart, then communicating with it can be a pleasant, soothing and joyful experience. An experience that anyone can have, but most are unaware although it is hidden in you. The Heart is waiting for you to be rediscovered. Rediscover? Yes, most people already had access to the treasure, but were unaware of it as a child. For some, it is a very subtle feeling, experienced like a radiation, a glow. The experience can be soothing, it can be full of joy, it can be present, silent but noticeable so you realize that you are never alone. You have backup from a soothing and at the same time impressive strong force. Overall it feels great.
The Heart can be open and warm when you meet others, it can retreat in meeting with people, letting your mind know to be careful. When you learn to rely on it and work with it can be a friend, a coach, a guide in your life when your mind does not know where to go, or how to act.
As a child most people enjoyed it, but something so natural and close in your life may easily be overlooked as something wonderful. If it were taken away from you, stolen by an outer influence you certainly would know what you are missing. But life has its ways and while growing up the Heart retreats to the background, in a slow pace, due the pressures of life. Eventually you do not miss it, or you do not know that you are backed by this force. When you forgot it, your self-assurance is degraded to the level you have today.
This sounds sad. Yes, but that is how it is for most. And most people find ways to compensate for this loss. By mind control, harnessing them and thereby closing parts of them. Sometimes some situations may make you remember by noticing a glimpse of that forgotten feeling of being yourself. These impressive moments may be washed away again by life’s pressures. Thou shall not be yourself.
Why do I use this archaic sentence? I use it because this happens generation after generation, again and again in a process of life that most of us know. Occasionally, you meet someone that somehow escaped this process. These free people have remarkable effects on others. Most are magnetized by them, and that is no wonder. These people remember you of that old forgotten treasure.
Look at the saying that goes like this: ”You don’t know what you’ve got, until you lose it.” I would like to change the last part to “until you are aware you lost it.” Do you know what I mean? Free people remind you of that. You can reach for your Heart too. I know from working with sensitive people that most sensitive people can reach out for that wonderful experience of opening up to their Heart potential.
